New Year Resolutions – Where Will You Be One Year From Now?

New Year Resolutions Help You Move Forward and Upward

People would say to always keep on moving forward and upward, and making New Year Resolutions is definitely a step in the right direction. Making constant steps of progress can seem relatively simple when we are in an expansive vibrational state and things seem like they are going almost automatically in our favor. However, we all face challenges at some moments in our lives, and in these moments it can seem that nothing is going our way. Everything we do can feel like we are hitting a brick wall with little to no advancements to show for.

Nevertheless, if you have a plan, be it formatted through your new year resolutions or life goals, you know where you are heading, and you know you will face challenges. So, with a plan you are better prepared and then these life challenges are generally a short setback.

They don’t have the same emotional weight compared to when you not have a plan.

However, the problem starts even before the plan, before the goal or the new year’s resolution. The problem most face is that they don’t know where they are heading. If you don’t have a long term goal, a vision for what you really desire from deep inside you, you’re probably just following the “Rat Race” and sooner or later you will feel lost, or that life is consuming you…

If that’s you, then I wish for you to find the power to take a break, and reflect back on your life.

Look at:

  • What worked, and what didn’t work?
  • What are the things that you would like to see changed, improved?
  • What can you do about that?
  • What steps can you take?

Then look at the future. And if you have a long term vision, wonderful. If you take the steps that are moving you towards that vision, soon you will arrive.

However if you don’t, I would say, brake out of your hypnotic state. Take some time to reflect over the past year. Look at yourself, and try to envision your future. If you have never done this kind of inner reflection, you might struggle to look in the future. But this is only temporary because we have learned to stay in the past rather than the “now.” Looking forward to explore new venues in the future is not something we learned through our traditional education system. But it’s as simple as dreaming, imagining, envisioning.

Just dream or imagine…

  • What if you would make more money?
  • What if you could have that perfect relationship?
  • What if you could have your promotion and a successful career?
  • What if your health would improve?
  • What if you could start your own business?
  • What if …?

What is it that you want or dream about?
And if you know what it is, do you belief you can make progress towards that dream if you would work on it day-by-day, step-by-step?

New Year Resolutions and Planning Your Life Goals

If you start making New Year Resolutions or planning your life goals, I invite you to think about where you want to be with your life, your dream, your goal, one year from now? What do you want to do one year from now? What are the achievements you want to have accomplished one year from now? What would make you happy and proud and joyful looking at yourself and your achievements one year from now?

Then plan ahead, and evaluate your goals or new year’s resolution every 3 months, every month, every week, and every day for the progress you make.

It doesn’t matter if you want more money, a better relationship, a new career, improve your health, or anything else that makes you enjoy life with more happiness. As soon as you have your new year resolution or goal set for where you want to be, or what you want to have accomplished one year from now, make a plan on how you think you will achieve that. Chunk it down in smaller goals and accessible steps, and take one step at a time.

A journey of a million miles begins with a single step. Take a step, any step, daily and you will be amazed at the changes that are taking place.

When your vision is clear of what you want out of life, planning makes your dream come alive. And it will stay alive as long as you plan. When you stop planning your dream is like a candle. Soon the light will go out…

Therefore, make it a habit to plan every day to take at least one step that moves you closer to your target.

Re-Invigorate yourself, find the power to go after your goals and succeed with your new year’s resolution. If you can’t get excited, then you’ve chosen the wrong plan. It’s not for you, it is not big enough, or you don’t have enough belief in yourself that you can achieve it.

If that’s you, connect with us at GreatMindset.com so we can help you brake through that barrier.

Surround Yourself With People That Stimulate You

Surround yourself with people who love life and who also remind you, regularly, how phenomenal, capable and wonderful you are. Neutralize your attachment to people who disempower you, who make you feel small, unimportant, or in any way less than… and become yourself a beacon for those who “light you up” or need “your light and brightness” to light them up.

And if you have a hard time finding such people in your immediate environment, come visit our website or Facebook page and connect with like minded people, read our magazine or similar stimulating information that is motivating and uplifting you.

Live life with passion and desire because you are going to achieve your dream, and plan the new year ahead with actions that move you closer to your vision. Envision yourself in the success that you seek, and step into that image.

Do not ever give up and always keep believing in yourself NO MATTER WHAT!

There will always be challenges to overcome, but they become insignificant once you have conquered them.

Have the Mindset of A Winner

Someone that is proud about the victories and conquest’s made, because although you know in every victory there is some luck involved, you also know that every victory is the result of your talent, your qualities, your commitment, your hard work, and the years of practice.

It’s very well worth it. And I am saying this from experience.

Change yourself to be the one you want to eventually see in the world.

That’s my deepest wish for you.

Let others lead small lives, but not you.
Let others argue over small things, but not you.
Let others cry over small hurts, but not you.
Let others leave their future in someone else’s hands, but not you.

I wish that everything just flows for you with bliss and joy, and that you achieve everything that you put your mind and heart to!

A big hug for you!

Happy New Year my friend.

With Love,
